One of the topics that has been brought up from our community amongst varying professions, is the creation of purposeful practice and how to successfully monetize planning. In the words of our guest speaker, “When the family wins, you win. And the family wins when purposeful planning is at the heart of any engagement.” Join Padric as he takes us on a journey of his early takeaways from noticing discrepancies in wealth services offered and what clients desired, lessons learned from John A, Tim Belber, and Jay Hughes, and a Master’s in Financial Planning with a concentration in Legacy Planning that crafted out the infrastructure and communication skills to align his business with meeting all the capitals of the families his firm serves.

Join this conversation as we unpack national research on the top psychological barriers families face in advancing their philanthropy and finding greater impact. The new report from the National Center for Family Philanthropy and Arabella Advisors summarizes findings from over 75 interviews with philanthropic families and leverages principles from psychology and behavioral economics to offer practical advice to families and their advisors. Together we will explore highlights including shifting mindsets from spending to investing, overcoming complexity to embrace urgency and embracing trust for greater impact. The session will highlight the timely nature of this research as families unlock greater dollars for urgent issues including preserving climate, democracy and social justice.
