Refunds for Event Registration
2020 Rendezvous & Fusion: Refunds will be provided less a $50 per registration cancellation fee for any cancellations received by May 31st, 2020. Because of the costs associated with processing refunds, these fees will be charged regardless of the reason for the cancellation. Refunds for cancellations received after May 31st, 2020, generally will not be provided because firm commitments will already have been made for food and other costs. If there are compelling reasons (such as health or family emergencies) refunds after May 31st, 2020 may be given less a $100 per registration processing fee.
If a refund is granted, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
COVID-19 Response: We appreciate the commitment and hope exhibited by almost 100 members and friends of PPI who have already registered for Rendezvous 2020. But as the gloom surrounding the spread of COVID-19 grows darker, registrations have slowed dramatically, and we are hearing from many who had planned to register, asking if we will be holding Rendezvous 2020. While the probabilities of our being able to hold Rendezvous from July 21st to July 23rd are uncertain at this time, we don’t feel it is appropriate to cancel Rendezvous 2020 yet. We anticipate a decision on go or no-go will be made no later than the third week of May.
The safety and wellbeing of the PPI community is of utmost importance to all of us. We will be consulting information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local public health authorities for the best evidence-based information as we make decisions regarding the event. As of March 17, 2020, the CDC was recommending all events of 50 people or more be canceled or postponed for 8 weeks. Currently, that guideline doesn’t affect Rendezvous 2020. We anticipate that guidelines will be revisited over the next month or so as hard data about the spread and/or containment of COVID-19 is analyzed.
If the CDC guidelines are updated and the current timeline is extended into June and/or July, we will update the refund policy accordingly.
If you have any questions about our refund policy please contact us.
