Thank you for your interest being a Thought Leader with the Purposeful Planning Institute. Due to the high volume of requests and limited spots, we are unable to accept every submission we receive.

Selection Criteria

In the selection process, carried out by a group working collaboratively that includes the Education Development Committee and the Council of Deans, the following criteria will be considered:

  • Timing of rollout of the content in light of other content from the same content category area, with a lens on not oversaturating any one content area or neglecting others.
  • Opportunities to maximize the impact and uptake of content by members.
  • Balancing the need to hear fresh perspectives from newer voices, as well as from longtime and trusted veteran experts.
  • Identifying and promoting content that can be repurposed for use with our Collaboratories – where these groups can utilize the content to dive further into discussion or practice.
  • The relevance, credentials, and expertise of the presenter related to the topic being presented.
  • Content that will grow and expand upon the perspectives widely shared in our field.

Content is reviewed on a quarterly basis. Those who submit content can expect to hear back by early in the following quarter. Topics tied to a current event or time sensitive trend will be fast tracked as necessary.

Diversity is extremely important for the PPI team, and we encourage Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, LGBTQIA+, and those who hold marginalized identities, including religious or cultural, as well as those not listed to submit.
