Many of us know that meditation and mindfulness can be powerful tools for reducing stress and regulating the nervous system. However, it is often seen as an individual practice. There are a myriad of tools that we, as advisors, can utilize when working with clients to better support both our own systems and the clients and family systems we are working with and within. This webinar will go over various tools and techniques to recognize and respond to stress in healthier ways. Everyone can benefit from these practices.

Introduction to our Guest Speaker(s)

Helping strengthen relationships in families is near and dear to Lauren Ratner Bujosa heart. Lauren is in the unique position of having worked for over 20 years in her own family business. At its height, Ratner Companies, operating under several trade names, was the largest privately held salon chain in the U.S. with over 1000 locations and 12,000 employees. Being a part of the 3rd generation in her family business, Lauren has intimate knowledge of the unique challenges enterprising families face. She worked in all levels of the organization from stylist to operational leadership. Lauren originally sought an MBA from Babson College to take over her family business, however through the experience, realized her talents were better suited to helping others navigate the complexities of relationships and working with family. She believes true wealth is found in connected relationships.

Inspired by her own experience working with her family and through the mentorship of her family’s business advisor and therapist, Lauren decided to pursue a master’s in counseling from Naropa University. Now a licensed therapist and relationship advisor, she utilizes a systemic and attachment-based approach to help family clients build and sustain meaningful connections.
No amount of money or status can bring happiness or a sense of belonging. True wealth is healthy, connected relationships. Lauren helps families have the difficult conversations and lay the foundation for successful joint decision-making.

Lauren grew up in Washington D.C. and currently resides in Miami, FL with her spouse and 5-year-old daughter.
