Presented by Eugene Lipitz, Luke Jernagan, Paul McKibbin
Most family offices have policies… somewhere. But few have procedures that are current, role-specific, and actually used. This hands-on workshop is designed to change that. In three hours, you will move from concept to action: leaving with frameworks, annotated templates, and a personal roadmap for building or meaningfully strengthening your office’s operational infrastructure.
This is not a panel discussion or a survey of theory. Every element of the session, including pre-work assigned in advance, is designed so that your time in the room is applied, not introductory. If you arrive with your context prepared, you can expect to leave with materials you can put to work the following week.
This session is pending approval for CLE through the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Continuing Legal and Judicial Education.
This workshop is designed for professionals who are responsible for — or who advise on — the operational infrastructure of family offices and family enterprises, including:
Participants at all experience levels are welcome. Whether you are building from scratch or refining a mature system, the workshop is designed to meet you where you are.

Founder
PlenaryOps
Eugene Lipitz is the founder of PlenaryOps, a platform purpose-built around the operational infrastructure of single-family offices, and Past President of Commodore Management Co. a Single Family Office he led from 1999 to 2026. Over the past decade he has assembled what is among the more rigorous proprietary procedure libraries in the U.S. family office field, spanning governance, investment due diligence, estate and trust administration, diminished capacity planning, next-generation development, risk management, and operational controls. Through PlenaryOps, he is formalizing this body of work for licensing to family offices and AI-enabled family office software platforms. He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Family Offices Journal and holds degrees from Wesleyan University and Johns Hopkins University. His methodological commitment is to evidence-based procedure development: source-attributed, drawn from primary literature rather than vendor marketing, and field-tested before being declared best practice. Gene is a CPWA and GFS.
