Last week I had the privilege to be interviewed for over an hour with New York Times journalist Paul Sullivan. That interview resulted in a half-page article Saturday in the Times. It seems the ideals and principals behind the Purposeful Planning Institute are finally drawing attention on the national stage.

Now we intend to take the Purposeful Planning movement to a new level by sponsoring a professional gathering of for lawyers, CFPs, CLUs, CPAs, Planned Giving Professionals, wealth managers and trustees to introduce them to the new world of Purposeful Planning but doing so through the lens of their technical planning and designs. This event will be called the Fusion Collaboration and will be held in Orlando on March 19th and 20th. The tagline for Fusion Collaboration is “Where Smart Meets Heart”. The Fusion Collaboration will be distinctive but complimentary to the very popular PPI Annual Rendezvous which the Purposeful Planning Institute will host for the fifth time next August 5th to 7th.

We have twenty plus members of the Purposeful Planning Institute who are working on the Visioning, Wisdom, Buzz and Sponsorship committees. We’d love to have you help us make the Fusion Collaboration Symposium a huge success and you can help in a number of ways.

First, the Fusion Collaboration program needs panelists and presenters who will help us articulate how we can enhance technical and tax-driven planning with Purposeful Planning best practices and collaboration. So if you’d like to volunteer to be a moderator, panelist or keynoter, please take a look at our call for speakers and let us know how you might help us get the message out in a compelling way at the Fusion Collaboration.

Second, please mark your calendar and suggest to your professional colleagues and collaborators that they do the same. If you can think of anyone who might be looking for or who could benefit from the unique experience and knowledge delivered at the Fusion Collaboration please share this link with them which describes the symposium.
