Date: September 18, 2018

Time: Noon ET (60 Minutes)

Guest Speaker: Moira Somers, Ph.D., C.Psych., Founder of Money, Mind, and Meaning

Host: Susan Bradley, CFP®, CFT™, Founder of the Sudden Money® Institute (SMI), PPI Dean of Transitions

Have you ever noticed that good advice can be hard to take? Most humans have. We want to do the right things for our lives, but we also want to do the things that are easier or more fun, less inconvenient or less complicated — and so, too, do our clients. On this call, we’ll delve into the research on client non-compliance / non-adherence. Turns out that much of what we do when delivering our wise counsel may just be plain WRONG. We’ll look at ways of getting better at giving advice that people can actually follow.
